| 1. To go to the start of our route, we will use public transport whenever possible. If we use the car we will not drive on the tracks, but walk and enjoy the surroundings, not forgetting that we have come to do some exercise. If you use the car to drive around the tracks at your whim, will lose any perception of what the nature in this place is offering you. 2. We will take everything we have brought with us home: rubbish, containers, cigarette ends, etc. We will not hide it or bury it. If you throw your rubbish (inorganic or organic) anywhere, the next time you return it will not look so wonderful and natural. 3. We will find places out of the way of springs, rivers, buildings, rest areas, lanes, etc. to relieve ourselves. 4. We will not uproot the vegetation growing in the surroundings. Many plants are very interesting, scarce species adapted to the special mountain conditions. If you collect plants, animals, rocks, minerals, fossils, etc. you will prevent other people from enjoying what belongs to everybody, nature. 5. If you wash in river courses or in springs (with or without soap) you won’t be able to drink water again or cool yourself down. 6. In craggy areas disturb the fauna living there as little as possible . Many birds and bats, some in danger of extinction, use the crags to nest or take refuge. The most critical time is from December to June, the birds of prey mating and rearing time. 7. We do not make a racket or unnecessary noise. We could harm very sensitive species, as well as bothering and even disturbing other walkers and even making them lose their concentration. If you make a noise you will not be able to hear the birds sing and the murmur of the water. 8. You should respect the rest of the country lane users: pedestrians, farm machinery, herds, cyclists, etc. Stopping or getting out of the way when necessary you will be welcome anywhere. 9. If you don\'t respect the signs or markers on the paths and tracks, the next time you get lost you won’t have so much fun. 10. We close the fences and gates we find along the way. We respect the fields, crops, orchards and herds in the area. If you don\'t close the gates along the way, you won’t be welcome on the other side and will cause more problems than you think. 11. If we take a dog to the mountains, we will make sure that it does not bother other people, and if necessary we will put it on its lead, to stop it from scaring or frightening away animals. You should pass on respect for nature. 12. We will not write, paint or etch trees, rocks or stones. The sign posting of the lanes is carried out by mountaineers trained to signpost the routes. If you etch or write on tree barks, rocks, etc., you are signing a work that does not belong to you. 13. If you take photographs or videos that are not for personal use, remember that you need to ask for permission. 14. If you make a fire away from the places designated for this purposes, you may be responsible for a catastrophe affecting everybody, even yourself. 15. If you camp in unauthorised areas you will be using an animal\'s bed, as it will not return. |
